Excellent Maths teacher who can support you on your journey. I have 16 years of teaching experience; teaching from Year 7 - Year 13. I currently teach from Years 9-12. I also teach Additional Maths Level 3 course to support my Year 11’s with the transition to A-level Maths. I am passionate about my job and always aim to support my students the best I can on their journey. I use many online resources to ensure my lessons are varied and enjoyable. My teaching is aimed at Edexcel, AQA and OCR exams in iGCSE, GCSE and GCE and Additional Maths with OCR. I have also been an examiner with both AQA and Edexcel for several years. I am confident in teaching online as with COVID I have been accustomed to Dual teaching. I am a qualified Science teacher and I specialise in Biology. I have a strong academic background in Science. I achieved a first grading in BSc Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Surrey and have had clinical experience working as a dietitian in the NHS prior to my teaching career. I have privately tutored a wide range of subjects for 8 years, working as a full-time tutor for the last 5 years. I enjoy helping pupils reach their potential and achieve academic success. I have trained as an academic/careers mentor therefore I offer support and guidance with career choices, university applications and CV writing. I enjoy working with students to help them achieve their potential and tailor my lessons to suit the learning style of each student.

Mrs Catherine G

I am a Highly qualified and experienced English teacher, Head of English and Director of Teaching and Learning at Cheadle Hulme School. I teach across all key stages and have an excellent working knowledge of all major exam boards. I lead a department that successfully teaches the Edexcel IGCSE courses in both Literature and Language. We are the top performing department in the school and nationally, the added value scores repeatedly place my English Department in the top 4 departments in the country. I have 20 years experience of teaching KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, A Level English Literature and A Level Language but I am always learning myself- keeping up to date with educational research and pedagogy. Experienced English and specialist SEN Teacher (eighteen years in mainstream teaching with students with special needs). Currently a freelance tutor.
